statement my work is mainly influenced by megalithic art, dreams and sacred geometry i spend a lot of time on drafts as proportions, exact shapes and pure colours support my aim for a strong, positive and clear statement either by simplifying forms, restricting the palette, repetitive movements or just by balancing forms and colours until a painting is restful to the eye - i hope to draw the observer into a dreamlike state or to invite introspection
